HexBau

HexBau is the construction project-management software built by HexWorld Solutions GmbH in Dresden, for large construction projects. Modules: real-time planning and progress, role-based access with an audit trail, safety workflows, live site maps and documentation.

Hosting & infrastructure

• Hosted in Germany — Hetzner, Falkenstein data center
• Data encrypted at rest (full-disk encryption)

Access & security

• Sign in with company single sign-on (OIDC) or username and password
• Role-based access control with fine-grained permissions, enforced on the server
• Changes to project data are recorded in an audit log — who changed what, and when
• Brute-force protection through persistent rate limiting on sign-in and sensitive actions
• Hardened security headers and a strict Content Security Policy on every page

Privacy & compliance

• GDPR-first by design
• No third-party trackers, no analytics scripts, no external CDNs
• Optional AI document features are off by default and can be fully disabled per deployment; when disabled, no data leaves the server. When enabled, processing uses Microsoft Azure AI services (disclosed in the privacy policy).
